The people reading this site are Rust players choosing where to spend their next wipe.
Players arrive here to measure a server before they commit: live player counts, wipe history, settings and regional ping. They are close to a decision, which makes the site a sensible place to put a server in front of them.
Placements we sell
- Featured position for a server on the pages players compare servers with, including the server browser, servers just wiped, and the regional and play-style lists.
- A banner, on the home page or running across the site.
- A sponsored slot on the force wipe countdown, which players check in the days before each force wipe.
Terms
Every placement is monthly and arranged by email. Sponsored entries are labelled as sponsored. Buying a placement does not move a server up a ranking: order in any list comes from the measured data, not from payment.
To ask about availability and current rates, email hello@rustdatalab.org with the server or product you want to promote and the dates you have in mind. You get a reply with the options that fit.
Questions
Can I pay to put my Rust server higher in a list?
No. Rankings and list order on Rust Data Lab come from the live data, and a paid placement never changes them. What you can buy is a labelled featured spot or banner alongside the lists, clearly marked as sponsored.
What does a sponsored placement on the wipe countdown involve?
The force wipe countdown is where players look ahead of each monthly wipe, so it carries a sponsored slot for a server. It runs for the period agreed by email and is marked as sponsored, like every other paid placement on the site.
How do I get rates and book a placement?
Email hello@rustdatalab.org with the server or product and the dates you want. The reply covers the placements available for those dates and the current monthly rates. Bookings are made by email rather than through an account on the site.
